Hautnah Merino Bralette
Close to the skin. Closer to the self.
Hautnah is a German word that means “close to the skin.” It describes something intimate, immediate, and deeply personal.
This bralette was created to live up to that meaning. Inspired by another bralette knit design, Worn Close developed its own interpretation — shaped by a distinct approach to fit, fiber, softness, warmth, and hardware-free ease. Designed with a focus on gently supporting smaller breasts, it was made not to impress, but to softly hold you and offer an added layer of warmth
Each Hautnah bralette is hand knit slowly, one stitch at a time, in 100% superfine, non-superwash merino wool, chosen for its natural warmth, breathability, and sumptuous softness against the skin.
No lining.
No hardware.
No adjusters….and no tags!
Nothing to interrupt the feeling of being gently held.
The fabric moves with you and is meant to feel barely there.
Each piece is made to order and created just for you. It is never rushed, never identical. Subtle variations are part of its beauty — quiet proof that it was shaped by human hands, not machines.
A single bralette takes up to eight hours to knit.
It is for slow mornings, long evenings, soft movement, rest, travel, and the moments you keep only for yourself.
Hautnah is not lingerie for performance.
It is a garment for presence.
Warm, natural, and quietly intimate — Hautnah is a garment you do not wear for anyone else. You wear it to return to yourself.
Created within Worn Close, and meant to be worn close.

Why It Exists
The Hautnah Bralette exists as a quiet alternative to fast, disposable lingerie — created for women with smaller busts who want comfort that feels natural, intentional, and enduring. Each piece is made slowly, with materials chosen not only for how they feel against the skin, but for how they live with you over time.
Comfort, held close — soft, breathable fibers that move gently with the body, naturally temperature-regulating to keep you warm when it’s cool and cool when it’s warm.
Gentle shaping — designed to softly support smaller breasts while creating a smooth, subtly fuller silhouette.
Slow fashion by nature — hand-knit in small numbers, honoring time, craft, and thoughtful ownership.
Natural materials — superfine merino (and silk or cashmere, when used) selected for purity, breathability, and skin harmony.
Naturally odor-resistant — wool’s living fibers resist odor, allowing the garment to stay fresh longer.
Less washing, more wearing — often refreshed simply by air, reducing care rituals and water use.
Sustainable in every sense — kinder to the environment, and designed to last, making it a meaningful long-term investment rather than a temporary purchase.
Made with Care
Client measurements are carefully recorded and stored in a dedicated profile, allowing future pieces to be refined while maintaining consistency in fit. Subtle preferences and adjustments are thoughtfully documented so that each subsequent piece feels just as considered as the first.
The price reflects skilled time, natural materials, and a commitment to making fewer things, better.
With your first Hautnah bralette order, you will receive an unscented wool wash — a small gesture to support the mindful care and longevity of your garment.
