Returns, Exchanges, & Final Sale
First of all, thank you for valuing my work and the slow fashion movement enough to spend your hard earned money on a Worn Close item.
At Worn Close, each piece is handmade with care and intention. If for any reason your order is not quite right, I am happy to accept returns within 14 days of delivery for a refund.
To be eligible for return, items must be unworn, unused, and in their original condition, with all tags and original packaging included. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.
We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for custom made pieces
All custom-made pieces — including custom sizing, colour combinations, and special design requests — are final sale.As these pieces are created specifically for you, we are unable to accept cancellations, refunds, returns, or exchanges on custom orders.
We ask that customers review all product details carefully before purchasing and provide accurate measurements when requested.
To request a return, please email wornclosestudio@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your order, including your order number and reason for return. Once your return has been approved, the item must be sent back within 7 days of that approval.
Once your return has been received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 7 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued.
Shipping Fees
All original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Customers are responsible for the cost of return or exchange shipping, as well as arranging the return with their chosen courier. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service, as Worn Close cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit. Proof of postage and tracking should be retained until your return has been received.
Non-Returnable Items
I am unable to process refunds for items returned outside of this policy. If a non-returnable item is sent back to us, the customer will be responsible for the postage cost required to have the piece returned to them.
Fit Support
If your piece was made using measurements you provided and you believe there is a significant fit issue, please contact Worn Close within 7 days of delivery at wornclosestudio@gmail.com. Include your name, order date, a description of the issue, and clear photos if helpful. We cannot guarantee alterations or remakes, but we will review each situation with care and do our best to determine whether a reasonable adjustment, repair, or solution can be offered.
Complimentary Zoom fittings are also available upon request. Minor adjustments are documented for future orders to ensure a consistent fit and to accommodate individual needs over time. Please contact Selva at wornclosestudio@gmail.com to schedule a complimentary 10-15 minute consultation.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, please contact Worn Close within 3 days of delivery. Include your order number and photos of the item and packaging. Worn Close will offer an appropriate remedy.
Return to Sender
If a parcel is not successfully delivered and is returned to me, you will receive an email notification and a refund for your order, less any shipping costs, duties, or taxes incurred.
If the order is custom-made, the customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipping the piece.
Please note that Worn Close cannot be held responsible for parcels lost or delayed in return transit due to failed delivery attempts or unclaimed packages. We strongly recommend monitoring your tracking information closely to help ensure successful delivery.
Handmade Variation
Please note that slight variations in texture, stitch character, and finishing are part of the nature and beauty of handmade work. These are not considered defects, but part of what makes each piece unique.
